On June 29, 2025, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Çalik Holding Group of Companies Ahmet Chalik.

Expressing sincere gratitude for the time devoted to the meeting, the businessman cordially congratulated the National Leader of the Turkmen people on his birthday and on the second anniversary of the opening of the unique Arkadag city in the region, wishing him good health, longevity, a happy life and success in all his endeavors in the interests of humanity. The Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Çalik Holding Group of Companies also conveyed warm greetings from the President of the Republic of Turkey to the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan and the President of Turkmenistan.

Expressing pride for the tremendous achievements in all spheres in Turkmenistan, the businessman stressed that such progress clearly demonstrates the consistent implementation of the initiatives of the National Leader of the Turkmen people under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

As noted, at the initiative of the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, a number of major projects were implemented in Turkmenistan, including the unique smart city of Arkadag in the entire region. The grandiose initiatives of the National Leader of the Turkmen people are now being successfully implemented under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. At the same time, the scientific works of the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan serve as a doctrine and guide for young people in life.

Thanking for the kind words and wishes, as well as expressing his best wishes to the President of the Republic of Turkey, the National Leader of the Turkmen people noted the successful dynamics of the multifaceted bilateral dialogue established since the first years of independence, based on the principles of friendship and brotherhood. It was emphasized that the Turkmen-Turkish cooperation covers the energy sector, the textile industry, construction and other sectors.

During the meeting, the emphasis was placed on the fact that in foreign economic relations with partner countries and companies, Turkmenistan is guided by the principles of equality and respect for the interests of each side.

In this regard, the significant contribution of Turkish companies operating in Turkmenistan, in particular Çalik Holding, to the expansion of interstate cooperation was emphasized.

Noting the importance of the companies' activities in the energy sector and the healthcare system of Turkmenistan, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan stressed that Turkmenistan fully supports the use of a scientifically based approach, innovative technologies and economically feasible solutions in jointly implemented projects.

Speaking about this, the National Leader of the Turkmen people expressed confidence in the continued effective work of Çalik Holding to implement projects in Turkmenistan that are in demand in the country and the region using new technologies and high-performance equipment.

Expressing gratitude for the high level of trust, the businessman assured that the company would continue to take a responsible approach to fulfilling contractual obligations.
