Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting via the digital system with the participation of the velayats’ khyakims to consider issues related to the progress of seasonal agricultural work in the velayats.

The first floor was given to the khyakim of Akhal velayat Ya.Gurbanov, who reported on the ongoing seasonal agricultural work, in particular, cotton harvesting to the last box, as well as on the work carried out in the velayat in connection with changes in the administrative-territorial division.

After hearing the report, the head of state noted the importance of proper seasonal agricultural work, harvesting cotton grown in the velayat without losses, as well as carrying out appropriate work in the fields where cotton will be sown for the harvest of 2023. Khyakim was given a number of specific instructions regarding timely settlements with cotton producers for the harvested crop.

Then the khyakim of Balkan velayat, T.Atakhallyev, reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural campaigns in the western region of the country, the state of affairs at various facilities planned to open this year, as well as work related to the change of administrative and territorial division in the velayat.

The President of the country gave specific commissions to the khyakim to harvest cotton without losses, carry out plowing in cotton fields and prepare them for next year’s sowing, and ensure timely payments with cotton growers for the harvest handed over to the state.

The working meeting via the digital system continued with the report of the khyakim of Dashoguz velayat N.Nazarmyradov on seasonal agricultural work in the northern region of the country.

The head of state assigned the head of the region to monitor the work scheduled for this year within the framework of the Socio-Economic Development Program of the country and the National Rural Program, as well as to keep under control the activities related to the change of the administrative-territorial division of the velayat.

Then the khyakim of Lebap velayat Sh.Amangeldiev reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural campaigns, as well as on the work related to the change of the administrative-territorial division of the region.

After hearing the report, head of state Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the importance of seasonal agricultural work being currently underway. The grown cotton crop should be harvested all to the last box, and it is necessary to plow the vacant lands and prepare them for next year’s sowing in agrotechnical terms, settlements with cotton producers should be carried out in a timely manner, the country’s President emphasized, giving the head of the velayat administration a number of specific instructions.

Khyakim of Mary velayat D.Annaberdiev reported on the progress of seasonal field work, in particular, on how the cotton is being harvested to the last box, on the plowing of vacant lands and their preparation for sowing in 2023. Measures are being taken to ensure timely payment of the labor of cotton farmers-tenants for the delivered products.

Special attention should be paid to watering and fertilizing wheat crops with mineral fertilizers, the President of the country stressed, giving khyakim a number of specific instructions.

Addressing the khyakims of the velayats, the country’s President highlighted the importance of comprehensive implementation of the tasks assigned to them, including ensuring proper control over the course of seasonal field work, which should be carried out in strict accordance with the norms of agrotechnical science, addressing a number of specific instructions.
