In order to build roads and bridges, as well as modernise and them in accordance with the Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the socio-economic development of the country in 2022–2028, the President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution. According to the document, the Ministry of road transport is authorised to conclude contracts for the design and construction of the Ashgabat-Dashoguz highway with a total length of 546 kilometres, for the design and construction of a road bridge with a total length of 812 metres, and for the modernisation of bridges along it.
