Today, the opening ceremony of the Days of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan in Turkmenistan was held in the capital.

The Palace of Mukams of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan was chosen as the venue for the grand opening of the Days of Culture of Tajikistan, where the heads of this sphere of the two countries, representatives of diplomatic missions accredited in Turkmenistan, the media, creative intelligentsia, and youth gathered in the evening.

The Ministers of culture of the two states addressed the participants and guests of the forum with greetings, emphasizing the importance of the current action, designed to become a significant event in the development of cultural cooperation and another important step in the history of friendship between the peoples of Turkmenistan and Tajikistan.

At the end of the solemn part, a concert of masters of arts of Tajikistan took place. Its program included folk music and dances, works from the treasury of world and Tajik musical classics, pop songs and incendiary dance compositions.

The audience was shown a video film "Tajikistan Today", which reflected the success of a friendly country in various sectors of the economy, as well as in the tourism sector, in the development of the capital - Dushanbe, the preservation and enhancement of the spiritual and historical heritage of the Tajik people.

The program of the Days is very diverse and allows one to get an idea of the achievements and trends in the development of Tajik culture and art.

On November 24, in the morning, the Museum of Fine Arts of Turkmenistan will host the opening of the exhibition. The exhibition includes works by contemporary artists, craftsmen of the Republic of Tajikistan, publishing products, photographs. The exhibition will also present a collection of clothes designed by modern fashion designers in the national style.

A meeting of cinematographers of the two countries and screenings of films created by Tajik directors in recent years and taking part in international film festivals will be held at the Aşgabat cinema center.

The closing ceremony of the Days of Culture of Tajikistan will take place on November 25 in Mary. Turkmen and Tajik artists will perform on the stage of the State Drama Theater named after Kemine of the Mary Velayat in a friendship concert.
