Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting via the digital system with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers A.Yazmyradov, who oversees the agro-industrial complex, and velayats’ khyakims, to consider the dynamics of seasonal field work in the regions, as well as issues of development of the agricultural sector.

The first floor was given to the khyakim of Akhal velayat Ya.Gurbanov, who reported on the state of affairs in the fields, in particular, on the practical steps being taken to harvest cotton and sow wheat in accordance with agrotechnical deadlines through the effective use of technical arsenal, as well as on preparations for the celebrations on the occasion of the Harvest Festival.

As it was reported, coordinated activities of the technique, transport and reception points involved in the “white harvest” are assured.

Wheat sowing is carried out according to the schedule using agricultural machinery and aggregates at full capacity. Vegetation irrigation is carried out on grain-sown fields, uniform shoots are obtained.

There was also information about the steps being taken to build industrial and social facilities in the region.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that the harvesting of grown cotton without losses is among the urgent requirements, addressing specific instructions to the khyakim to accelerate the pace of harvesting.

Further, the khyakim of Balkan velayat, T.Atakhallyev, reported on the progress of seasonal field campaigns, the implementation of plans for the construction of industrial and social facilities and preparations for the Harvest Festival.

It was also reported on the measures taken to complete the sowing of wheat according to agrotechnical deadlines based on the effective use of technical means, watering the sown fields in accordance with established norms and obtaining seed germination.

Along with this, comprehensive work is being carried out to collect cotton to the last box, to ensure the smooth functioning of agricultural machinery and harvest reception points.

On the agricultural lands of the region, the care of potatoes, vegetable crops and their delivery to consumer markets continues, as well as preparations for the collection of sugar beet are underway.

Summarizing the report and focusing on the importance of high-quality seasonal work in the fields, which is one of the main requirements of today, and harvesting cotton without losses, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov addressed specific instructions to the head of the regional administration to increase the pace of the harvesting campaign.

The working meeting via the digital system continued with the report of the khyakim of Dashoguz velayat N.Nazarmyradov on the progress of seasonal agricultural campaigns in the northern region of the country.

As reported, everything necessary is being done to collect “white gold”, coordinated operation during the cotton harvest of combine harvesters and vehicles, raw materials reception points.

Every effort is being made to complete the sowing of winter wheat on time with the effective use of agricultural machinery and equipment, as well as to obtain uniform seedlings.

Information was given about the steps being taken to ensure the production of high yields of vegetable and other crops, the harvesting of grown rice without losses, and the preparation for the Harvest Festival.

In addition, it was reported on the dynamics of the implementation of the planned works on the construction of industrial and social facilities in the region.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that the country attaches great importance to the development of the agro-industrial complex in accordance with the requirements of the time, and, focusing on the importance of accelerating the pace of cotton harvesting, gave a number of specific instructions to the khyakim.

Then the khyakim of Lebap velayat Sh.Amangeldyev reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural work in the region and preparations for the Harvest Festival.

Khyakim reported on the comprehensive measures taken to harvest cotton without losses, as well as the timely completion of wheat sowing, the use of agricultural machinery at full capacity, vegetation irrigation of fields according to agrotechnical deadlines to obtain uniform seedlings.

These days, the relevant work is also being carried out in the velayat to harvest rice.

It was informed about the care of winter potatoes, vegetable and other agricultural crops and their supply to the population.

It was also reported on the progress of construction work at industrial and social facilities.

Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the need to keep seasonal agricultural campaigns under constant control.

Further, the khyakim of Mary velayat, D.Annaberdyev, reported on the conduct of seasonal agricultural campaigns and preparations for events on the occasion of the Harvest Festival.

In the fields of “white gold”, the uninterrupted operation of combines and other equipment, as well as reception points, cotton gins is ensured.

Agricultural machinery and equipment are effectively used in sowing wheat. In wheat fields, according to the norms of agricultural technology, vegetation irrigation is carried out, which allows to obtain uniform shoots.

The khyakim of the velayat also reported on the carried-out activities aimed at obtaining high yields of potatoes, vegetable and other agricultural crops, and providing the population with these products.

These days there is an organized collection of sugar beet.

In addition, the planned work on the construction of social and industrial facilities is being executed at a rapid pace.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov focused on the importance of seasonal agricultural campaigns and the need to accelerate the pace of cotton harvesting, giving the khyakim a number of commissions in this regard.

Then Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers A.Yazmyradov reported on the pace of seasonal agricultural campaigns held in the regions and preparations for the Harvest Festival.

As it was noted, wheat sowing in the velayats is currently in the final stage. Measures are being taken to ensure the smooth functioning of agricultural machinery and aggregates involved in sowing winter wheat, watering and fertilizing with mineral fertilizers is carried out.

Along with the sowing of wheat, the necessary steps are being taken to harvest the grown cotton without loss, and to ensure the smooth operation of cotton harvesters, equipment involved in the transportation of the crop, and reception points.

The Deputy Prime Minister reported that rice harvesting continues in Dashoguz and Lebap velayats, and sugar beet harvesting continues in Mary Velayat.

In addition, preparations are underway for the celebrations on the occasion of the Harvest Festival.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the important role of the agricultural sector in the national economy and ordered to take all measures to carry out seasonal agricultural work in the regions on time, assigning the Deputy Prime Minister to keep these issues under strict control.

The head of state underlined that it is important to carry out the cotton harvesting campaign in a timely manner and without losses, complete the sowing of wheat in agrotechnical terms, as well as to fully provide the population with potatoes, vegetables and other agricultural products produced in the country, and gave the Deputy Prime Minister relevant instructions.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to ensure a high level of organization of celebrations on the occasion of the Harvest Festival, which is widely celebrated annually in the country in November.

Addressing the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers being in charge of the agro-industrial complex and the khyakims of the velayats, the head of state highlighted the need for proper conduction of seasonal agricultural campaigns in agrotechnical terms, as well as an integrated approach to the successful solution of the tasks set.
