Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting via the digital system with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers A.Yazmyradov, supervising the agro-industrial complex, and velayats’ khyakims to consider the dynamics of work performed in the agricultural sector and the course of seasonal field campaigns.

The first floor was given to the khyakim of Akhal velayat Ya.Gurbanov, who reported on the state of affairs in the region, the practical steps being taken to harvest cotton and sow wheat in accordance with agrotechnical deadlines, as well as on preparations for an organized nationwide landscaping campaign.

As it was reported, the uninterrupted functioning of the equipment and transport, involved in the “white harvest”, as well as reception points and cotton gin enterprises, is ensured.

Wheat sowing is conducted according to the norms of agricultural technology and using agricultural machinery and aggregates. Vegetation irrigation is carried out in grain-sown fields, uniform shoots are obtained.

It was informed about the works scheduled for implementation in the region this year according to the Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the socio-economic development of the country in 2022-2028 and the National Rural Program.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that the harvesting of grown cotton without losses is among the urgent requirements of the day and, pointing to the low rates of harvest in some etraps of the region, addressed specific instructions to the khyakim to accelerate it.

Further, the khyakim of Balkan velayat, T.Atakhallyev, reported on the progress of seasonal field work, the implementation of measures within the framework of the Program of the President of Turkmenistan for socio-economic development of the country in 2022-2028 and the National Rural Program, as well as preparations for a mass action on planting tree seedlings.

Summarizing the report and focusing on the importance of high-quality seasonal work in the fields, which is one of the main requirements of today, and harvesting cotton without losses, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov addressed specific assignments to the head of the regional administration to increase the pace of the “white” harvest.

The working meeting over the digital system continued with the report of the khyakim of Dashoguz velayat N.Nazarmyradov on the progress of seasonal agricultural work in the northern region of the country.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that the state pays unflagging attention to the development of the agro-industrial complex. It is necessary to complete the cotton harvesting and wheat sowing in accordance with the deadlines established by agricultural technology. In some etraps, the harvesting campaign is proceeding at a slow pace, the head of state said and ordered to take measures to increase them.

Then the khyakim of Lebap velayat Sh.Amangeldiev reported on the progress of seasonal work in the fields of the region and preparations for a massive landscaping campaign.

Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov underlined the importance of systematic monitoring of the progress of seasonal field campaigns in accordance with the requirements and agrotechnical deadlines.

Further, the khyakim of Mary velayat, D.Annaberdyev, reported on seasonal agricultural work, as well as on preparations for a nationwide tree planting event.

After hearing the report, head of state Serdar Berdimuhamedov focused on the course of seasonal agricultural campaigns, noting at the same time the low rates of cotton harvesting in some districts of the velayat. In this regard, a number of instructions were addressed to khyakim to speed them up.

The President of Turkmenistan highlighted the need to pay special attention to the issues of timely completion of sowing wheat in accordance with the norms of agricultural technology, while equipment should be used at full capacity. It is also important to make every effort to harvest sugar beet without losses, the head of state said and gave specific instructions to khyakim on the implementation of the tasks.

Then Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers A.Yazmyradov reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural work in the country and preparations for a nationwide landscaping campaign.

As it was noted, the selection of tree seedlings and the preparation of their planting sites in the regions of the country and in the capital are carried out within the framework of the nationwide campaign.

The Deputy Prime Minister also reported that in parallel with the sowing of wheat, the necessary work is being implemented to collect the grown cotton crop to the last box, and in accordance with agrotechnical requirements, grain seedlings are being cared for.

Currently, rice harvesting continues in Dashoguz and Lebap velayats, and the collection of sugar beet grown in the fields of Mary velayat is being organized.

After hearing the report and emphasizing the important role of the agro-industrial complex in the country’s economy, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov ordered to take all measures to carry out seasonal agricultural work in accordance with the requirements of agricultural technology, commissioning the Deputy Prime Minister to strictly control these issues.

Having ordered to make the necessary efforts to harvest the “white gold” without losses, to sow wheat in agrotechnical terms and provide the population with locally produced vegetables, as well as other agricultural products, the head of state gave the Deputy Prime Minister specific instructions.

The President of the country noted the importance of preparing for the national landscaping campaign to be held on November 5 this year at a high organizational level.

Addressing the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, being in charge of the agro-industrial complex and the khyakims of the velayats, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the need for a responsible approach to ensure timely and proper performance of seasonal agricultural work and successfully implement priority tasks. The head of state also instructed to conduct analytical work on the assessment of the activities of the heads of the Daykhan associations of the velayats, noting that the reports of the khyakims of the velayats on the analysis of the daykhan associations will be heard.

At the end of the working meeting using digital communications, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished the participants good health, great success in large-scale work aimed at the prosperity of the Homeland and a happy life of the native people.
