Today, President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country Serdar Berdimuhamedov has held a regular meeting of the State Security Council, at which activities of military and law enforcement bodies for nine months of the current year were summed up and priority tasks connected with the ensuring of security and tranquillity in the independent Turkmen state, strengthening of material and technical basis of security forces and organization of their work in accordance with realities of the time were outlined.
Secretary of the State Security Council, minister of defence B.Gundogdyev was the first to report on practical steps taken for the January- September period aimed at improvement of activity of subordinate departments and fulfilment of the program for development of the armed forces for 2022–2028. He also reported on preparation for military education and tactical measures, organization of work of land, military air and military naval forces in line with requirements of the time.
Attorney General S.Malikgulyev reported on the work carried out since the beginning of the current year, results of inspection carried out in certain structures and measures taken to introduce digital solutions and to raise the professionalism of employees.
Further, minister of interior affairs M.Khydyrov reported on complex measures realized in subordinate departments for nine months of the current year to ensure public order, prevention of offences, and organization of the work of the fire safety service in accordance with the requirements of the time. He also reported on results of the monthly event “Safety of road traffic –tranquillity of our life», held within its framework.
Chairman of the Supreme Court G.Ussanepesov reported on results of the activity of the subordinate body for the January-September period, the course of promotion of legal reforms and measures implemented in further development of the legal system.
Minister of national security G.Annayev, who spoke further, reported on the work carried out for the period under consideration and fulfilment of instructions given by the head of the state earlier and course of improvement of activity of the institution under his supervision.
Further, head of the State Border Service Ya.Nuryev reported on practical measures taken for the January-September period to ensure protection of borders of the fatherland, improvement of conditions of the service and life of servicemen and strengthening of the material and technical basis of the department under his supervision.
Then, minister of justice M.Taganov reported on results of work carried out since the beginning of the year to adapt the national legal basis to realities of the time, to introduce the digital system in structural subdivisions and to organize measures for enhancement of legal education of the population.
Head of the State Customs Service M.Khudaykuliyev reported on results of the work carried out for three quarters of the current year in the light of instructions and assignments given earlier by the head of Turkmenistan to implement the program of development of the subordinate department for 2022–2028.
Further, head of the State Migration Service N.Atagarayev reported on measures realized for the accounting period to improve the activity of the institution and improvement of professionalism of the personnel.
Having summed up reports, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country noted importance of well-coordinated work of military and law enforcement bodies to solve successfully tasks of the defensive military doctrine of independent neutral Turkmenistan, to ensure protection of the constitutional system and territorial integrity of the state, peace and tranquillity in society. One should continue modernization of all branches of the national armed forces and security departments by wide introduction of advanced world practice and modern technologies as well as training of highly qualified specialists, the head of the state underlined.
A special emphasis was made in necessity of organization of educational work among young soldiers and cadets on the basis of military traditions of Turkmen people as well as in the spirit of boundless love for the fatherland.
At the same time, the instruction on enhance of prosecutor’s checks for strict fulfilment of standard legal acts by institutions of state administration, local executive bodies and self-governing bodies and public organizations.
The Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country underlined importance of a strict control over maintenance of the order, observation of rules of fire safety and optimization of transport flow on motor roads of the capital and regions.
Drawing the attention to the fact that one of the main requirements is proper implementation of decisions made in the country, the head of Turkmenistan made an emphasis on the significance of an active introduction of advanced world practice in the activity of law enforcement bodies.
Developing upon necessity of application of efficient forms and methods for counteraction of modern challenges and threats of modernity, enhancement of professionalism and improvement of political training of the personnel, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country underlined that the activity carried out in this area should meet the standards of legislation.
Further, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov marked significance of the work for protection of the territorial integrity of Turkmenistan, strengthening of good neighbourhood, mutually trusted relations and realization of peace loving foreign policy.
Among promising areas of work was mentioned the single state policy to be pursued consistently in the field of rulemaking and law enforcement practice. The attention was also attached to necessity of efficient coordination of measures in the sphere of legal awareness aimed at enhancement of legal awareness and legal culture of Turkmen nationals.
Having summed up the outcome of the meeting, the head of Turkmenistan underlined that our independent neutral fatherland firmly committed to the legal status of neutrality, maintains relations of friendship and good neighbourhood with countries and peoples of the world. The military doctrine, which bears strictly a defensive character, is based on the given principles. In accordance with it, we will further modernize the structures of military and law enforcement bodies and strengthen the defence capability of the fatherland, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country said.
It was also pointed out that a large-scale work for regular improvement of social, living, and service standards of military men and members of their families will continue.
At the end of the meeting, President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished all its participants sound health, wellbeing, and great successes in their responsible work for the peaceful and happy life of the people.
