On behalf of the people and Government of Turkmenistan, as well as on his own behalf, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping and Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China Li Keqiang, as well as to all the friendly people of the country on the occasion of the Proclamation of the People’s Republic of China.

The head of state emphasized that thanks to the work of the Chinese people, wise and far-sighted state policy over the past period, the People’s Republic of China has been able to achieve great success in all spheres of life, and the ideas of socialism with the Chinese specifics of the new era inspire the Chinese people to new grandiose achievements in the name of realizing the Chinese Dream.

The People’s Republic of China, being the first country in the world to establish diplomatic relations with Independent Turkmenistan, is currently one of the most important economic partners of our country, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted, underlining that Turkmenistan attaches special importance to the development of strategic relations with the People’s Republic of China.

In this context, the head of state noted that he remembers with special warmth the meeting with the President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping on the sidelines of the Samarkand SCO Summit, during which an exchange of views on many topical issues took place and important agreements were reached, expressing confidence that following this meeting both sides will take effective measures to implement the agreements reached.

Taking this pleasant opportunity, the head of state wished success to the 20^th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, which will become an important political event that determines the ways of further progressive development of the country.

The President of Turkmenistan also expressed sincere wishes to President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping and Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China Li Keqiang for sound health, happiness and success in responsible state activities, and peace, prosperity and well-being to the friendly Chinese people.
