Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received Markwart von Pentz, Head of the Department of Agriculture and Gardening Equipment of John Deere, who arrived in our country among numerous foreign guests to participate in the celebrations on the occasion of the 31st anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence.

Expressing deep gratitude for the time devoted to the meeting, the businessman congratulated the head of state on the holiday, wishing him good health, well-being, new successes in activities for the benefit of the people and the country.

Thanking for the kind words, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that our country is open for international mutually beneficial business contacts with leading representatives of world business, including the United States of America.

Turkmenistan attaches great importance to building up the production potential of the agricultural sector, the development of which is directly related to ensuring food security and sustainable growth in the welfare of the population, the head of state said, stating that John Deere is one of the long-standing and reliable partners of the domestic agro-industrial complex, and the efficiency of the supplied her machines were appreciated by our farmers.

During the conversation, the businessman informed the head of state about the steps taken in the light of the previously reached agreements, expressing the company's desire to expand the areas of cooperation and the range of agricultural equipment supplied to Turkmenistan that meets local soil and climatic conditions, including its latest types for sowing and harvesting campaigns.

Once again congratulating the head of state Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the 31st anniversary of the country's independence, the businessman noted that he was glad to have the opportunity to take part in the celebrations, which made an indelible impression on him.
