Today, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov received CEO of Dragon Oil Ali Rashid Al-Jarwan.

Having expressed his deep gratitude for the opportunity to discuss the future of cooperation in a personal conversation, the guest, availing of the opportunity, congratulated the head of the state with the upcoming glorious holiday, 31^st anniversary of independence of Turkmenistan, conveying his best wishes to Turkmen people.

Having thanked for participation in festive events and good wishes, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov underlined that Turkmenistan possessing enormous reserves of hydrocarbon resources, steadily acts for establishment of wide international cooperation with companies engaged in exploration, development and production.

As was noted, at present, our country takes an active part in development of world energy market. The rise of oil and gas production, improvement of quality of production, increase in the volumes of energy supply to world markets are among priority areas of the energy policy of Turkmenistan.

The head of the state with satisfaction pointed out that for years of cooperation the company has showed itself as a responsible partner, which makes an active use of advanced practice and high technologies in its work as well as latest new scientific and technical solutions in accordance with modern ecological requirements.

During the meeting, opportunities for development of long-term successful interaction taking into account the rich experience gained with joint work and grandiose programs of Turkmenistan for further development of the fuel and energy complex were also considered. Rise in the production volume and processing of oil and gas as well as export of Turkmen energy carriers and readymade gas chemical products were mentioned among foremost tasks set before this key sector of national economy.

Taking into account a growing demand for energy in the world market, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov underlined presence of good prospects for the further deepening of cooperation and readiness to consider all proposals of the company on further partnership.

Having expressed his sincere admiration with the scale and pace of transformation and radial reforms, which are carried out in Turkmenistan and have found a wide support of the world community, Ali Rashid Al-Jarwan assured that Dragon Oil will further strictly fulfil its obligations.
