President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, speaking at meeting of the Dovlet maslahaty of the country, stated that the main goal of the state policy is about people.

According to the head of state, 75-80 percent of the expenditures of the State of the budget are directed to the social sphere - financing systems health care and education, culture, housing and communal services, increase in wages, pensions, state benefits, student scholarships, as well as the implementation of projects in this area.

“We provide additional social benefits to special categories of citizens, veterans, people with disabilities opportunities and children deprived of parental care”, -said the Turkmen leader.

The President of Turkmenistan stressed that a special item of the state politicians compose measures designed to secure constitutional rights citizens to work and employment, to protect the population from unemployment. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that additional workers are being created in this area places, the employment system is being optimized, a fair price policy regulating the cost of socially significant goods and services.

“The main indices of the socio-economic development of the country testify that the main goal of our state policy is concern for people, and this is a factor in the growth of the authority of Turkmenistan, where a high level of social protection of citizens is ensured”, -said President of Turkmenistan.
