Today, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who is currently on working trip to Lebap Region, participated in the events on occasion of the opening of International airport in Kerky as well as «Türkmeniň ak öýi» building in Turkmenabat, where celebration concert timed to the Week of Culture held in the eastern region of the country has been held.
In the morning, helicopter of the head of the state has landed in International Airport of Kerky. Further, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov went by vehicle to the place of the opening ceremony.
Having greeted the participants of the ceremony, the leader of the nation went to special tribune. Addressing the participants and all fellow countrymen, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has noted that number of facilities would be opened on ancient Lebap land today in honor of the 30th anniversary of the sacred independence and under the Week of Culture with participation of hard-working population of the region.
Cultural heritage of the nation, which is a pride of Turkmens, is sacred for all of us. The nature of native land, which is perfect sources of origination of national culture and art, has formed up a spiritual world of the people. Our culture, which combines the beauty of the nature and art inspiration of Turkmens, has an ancient and glorious history, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said.
As is known, the head of the state continued, 140th anniversary of our capital Ashgabat has been celebrated recently and the foundation of the complex of facilities of new Ashgabat City has been placed. Today, many big new facilities are opened in Lebap Region. All of this is aimed at provision of prosperous and happy life of the nation.
Brave grain producers of Lebap have fulfilled undertaken contractual obligations with honor. The grain is our wealth and source of abundance. In this regard, the leader of the nation has cordially congratulated the farmers and all population of the region on this excellent achievement.
We restore the Silk Road in the epoch of might and happness, which is indicated by the opening of Kerky International Airport. New airport has been built at work request of the Türkmenhowaýollary Agency by Gündogdy Private Company. Its two-store passenger terminal is provided with all comfortable conditions.
The opening ceremony of «Türkmeniň ak öýi» would be held in Turkmenabat today, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov continued, having noted in this context that special attention is paid to matching of their interior and exterior design with special features of each regions during the construction.
«Türkmeniň ak öýi» that was built in the shape of huge white tent combines the traditions of Turkmen architecture and modern trends. Interior design of the building is made taking into account special features of national decoration including carpet patterns.
Further, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted that Turkmenistan is a place of happy childhood. Children are the future of the country, the happiness of the children is a true might and glory of the Motherland. Priority of the interests of growing generation is one of important vectors of socially oriented state policy of Turkmenistan.
«Çagalar dünýäsi» cultural and entertainment center will be opened in Farab, Farab district in these celebration days. Let happy voices of our children sound loudly in this center! Care of happy generation is a care of great future of our sovereign state, the leader of the nation highlighted.
– And now, Let’s open together International Airport in Kerky, - the head of the state continued. – If the Almighty permits, high class aircrafts will start take off and land in this place for the first time and new air harbor will serve to out people.
Wedding motorcade has come to new airport. Shortly, one of the aircraft with the emblem of falcon and with a bride onboard will take off from Kerky to Turkmenabat. According to good tradition, women representatives of elder generation sprinkle the aircraft with white fluor and tie up a mascot.
In the end of his speech, having congratulated all on the 30th anniversary of the Motherland’s independence, starting of the Week of Culture in Lebap Region and opening of new facilities, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov wished that blessed Turkmen land could have more of such facilities.
The leader of the nation entered passenger terminal where he was welcomed performance of young Turkmenistan citizens dressed in aviators’ uniform.
Having warmly greeted the children, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov went to check-in counter in the departure hall of the airport.
First passenger ticket of new International Kerky Airport has been handed over to the head of the state in solemn atmosphere.
Original design, engineering and technical solutions have been embodied in the exterior of the building of the passenger terminal with total area of 2,221 square meters and 31.7 meters control tower.
During the ceremony, the leader of the nation has listened to the speeches of head of international organizations and structures, which joined the participants of the event by video conference hall.
Regional Manager of Turkey, Central Asia and Azerbaijan of International Association of Transport Aviation (IATA) Funda Chalyshyr, who was the first to speak, expressed sincere gratitude to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for the opportunity to share the joy of this event with Turkmen people.
Further, the floor was given to Deputy Director for monitoring and control of the Air Navigation Bureau of International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), which is specialized UN agency, Dennis Gindon. Having extended cordial congratulations to the President of Turkmenistan on opening of new airport, he noted that he is happy to take part in this important event in the history of civil aviation of Turkmenistan in online format.
The ICAO representative has confirmed the interest of this organization in further cooperation with Turkmenistan and the willingness to render comprehensive support in this direction, including in implementation of educational programs for technical specialists and experts in in the sphere of airport operations.
Further, Managing Director of Munich International Airport Ralph Gaffal has congratulated the head of the state and all participants of the events on completion of construction and opening of new International Kerky Airport, which undoubtedly is very important in development of passenger and cargo transportation in the region.
Having extended gratitude for the opportunity to participate in current important event by direct video call, Mr. Ralph Gaffal expressed the willingness of Mihich International Airport to support the Türkmenhowaýollary Agency in realization of strategic initiatives in such directions as management and improvement of efficiency of airport operations, marketing of air companies, training of profile specialists, etc.
Managing Director of Munich Airport highlighted that it is a big honor for him to confirm the compliance of Kerky Airport to international standards of certification according to the Attachment 14 of the Convention on International Civil Aviation.
In this context, it is worth to mention that official document of the ICAO on assignment of four-letter UTAE location code and Certificate of Compliance with International Standards issued by Munich International Airport have been given to Kerky Airport.
After the speeches of foreign partners, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and participants of the ceremony watched the landing of new Boeing 777-200LR and military transport aircraft in Kerky Airport.
The President of Turkmenistan went to the CIP-hall and made an entry in the Book of Honorary Guests in the memory of this remarkable event.
It is remarkable that arrival of new Boeing 777-200LR was met according primordial national traditions and customs, which integral attributes are sprinkling with fluor and tie up of mascot.
After the opening ceremony of Kerky International Airport, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov went onboard Boeing 777-200LR to fly to Turkmenabat. In the same place, the head of Turkmenistan has blessed the newlyweds, who went to administrative center of Lebap Region from Kerky, to make a flight on new aircraft.
During the flight from Kerky to Turkmenabat, President Gurbanguly Berdimuamedov had a talk with newlyweds and their parents onboard the aircraft.
The celebration on occasion of new marriage was continued onboard the aircraft. According to the tradition, everybody received celebration gifts and offered with sweets. The President of Turkmenistan has been invited to the wedding party of nee happy couple.
During the flight, the head of the state expressed his interest in technical details of new aircraft, which supplemented the fleet of national civil aviation and provided with comfortable conditions for the passengers.
Upon arrival to Turkmenabat International Airport, the leader of the nation has been warmly greeted by the participants of the event.
Saying goodbye to newlyweds, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has wished them happy and prosperous life. Undoubtedly, this happy day has become special day and unforgettable events for new couple and their relatives.
In the meantime, national customs, which are typical for wedding ceremony, have been made in the airport. In this regard, it is worth to mention that special attention is paid in Turkmenistan to careful protection and continuation of wise traditions of the ancestors, spiritual, moral and family values of the nation, which are enriched with new content today, owing to supportive activity of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
Having said warm goodbye to the participants of the event, the leader of the nation left the airport and went to multifunctional hospital of Turkmenabat by vehicle.
Personnel of healthcare sphere has warmly greeted President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on the square in front of medical facility.
Having noted that comprehensive care of the growing generation, protection of its health are the priorities of the government policy of Turkmenistan, the head of the state has informed about his decision on giving 10 new ambulance vehicles to pediatric departments of hospitals in each district from the recently established Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charity Fund for help of children requiring special care.
In the conversation with one of the doctors, the head of Turkmenistan highlighted that strengthening of health of people, especially young Turkmenistan citizens, would continue to be under attention of the government and wished medical personnel success in their noble activity.
Further, having said goodbye to the participants, the head of the state left the place of event.
In the afternoon, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov took part in the opening ceremony of Türkmeniň ak öýi, which ahs been built in the shape of giant white tent and become new architectural attraction of Turkmenabat.
Under loud applauses of the participants, the leader of the nation together with honored elders and representatives of elder generation from five regions of the country cut symbolical ribbon opening new excellent facility.
The head of the state has entered the Türkmeniň ak öýi where he was met by inspired performance of the collective national musical instruments of Lebap Region.
Exhibition presenting types of national decorative and applied art, national crafts has been expanded in the same place. The exhibition has become a visual evidence ofn multidimensional creative talent of Turkmen people.
After looking around new facility, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov went to the hall where celebration concert of art masters of Turkmenistan has been given.
The concert program was opened by inspiring literary and music composition «Arkadagly ýurduň milli sungaty». It was followed by performance of popular and young artists, art collectives of the country has demonstrated their skills and talent of singing and dancing, chorus and folk art.
Performance of Galkynysh National Equestrian Games of the President of Turkmenistan Equestrian Complex has given plenty of pleasure to the spectators.
This collective, which gained recognition and love in our country, is famous far beyond the borders of the country. The Galkynysh Group makes deserving contribution by its outstanding performance in wide popularization of unique heritage of Turkmen people in the world.
Song «Arkadagly ýurduň milli sungaty», which was performed by all participants of the concert was a powerful final chord of the event. It clearly demonstrated the solidarity of Turkmen people with its national leader, under which wise leadership our sovereign Motherland has reached unparalleled success in development.
After completion of the concert, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has made an entry in the Book of Honored Guests.
After this, the leader of the nation was presented with the model of «Türkmeniň ak öýi».
To mark current event, the President of the country has presented new vehicle as a gift to «Türkmeniň ak öýi» built in Lebap Region.
After, the head of the state has taken part in celebration food donation.
After the meal, the leader of the nation said goodbye to the participants and left the place of event.
On the same day, the head of the State came back to Ashgabat.
Therefore, the events held in Lebap Region has entered historical chronicle of independent neutral Turkmenistan with new remarkable events. Opening of new important facilities on the threshold of the 30th anniversary of the sacred independence has become a bright confirmation of steadfast movement of the Motherland forward along chosen way of peace, creativity and progress, on which it is led by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
