On the 2nd of July, 2025, an exhibition of export goods of Turkmenistan opened in Istanbul (Republic of Türkiye). Holding this large-scale exhibition in the Istanbul Exhibition Centre is aimed at further strengthening Turkmen-Turkish trade and economic ties and business cooperation, as one of the important areas of Turkmenistan's foreign economic strategy, laid down by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Hero-Arkadag and successfully continued by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

During the official part of the opening ceremony of the exhibition in the Istanbul Exhibition Centre, the national anthems of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Türkiye were played.

Then, official representatives of both countries sincerely congratulated the participants of the event on the current event, and expressed firm confidence that this exhibition will play an important role in the development of friendly and fraternal Turkmen-Turkish relations.

The speeches emphasised that Turkmenistan and Turkey attach great importance to mutually beneficial cooperation in various sectors, especially the development of trade and economic ties. This is clearly demonstrated by the participation in the exhibition of a large group of representatives of government agencies of Turkmenistan and the private sector.

Then the participants of the ceremony got acquainted with the exposition, which presented a wide range of high-quality goods exported by Turkmen manufacturers - equipment for the industrial and agricultural sectors, spare parts, building materials, household and electronic appliances, household goods, textiles and other various products and services.

This exhibition is an effective platform for identifying new areas of mutually beneficial cooperation, exchanging experience, developing business ties, which will give a powerful impetus to further strengthening and expanding trade and economic partnership.

It should be noted that trade and economic cooperation is one of the main areas of Turkmen-Turkish relations and is stable and long-term. This, in turn, contributes to the practical implementation of the existing great potential for cooperation. In this regard, a large-scale exhibition of export goods produced in Turkmenistan is of great importance.

The exhibition site features industry stands that comprehensively reflect the work carried out in our country to modernise and diversify all sectors of the national economy, as well as the successes achieved within the framework of state programs and innovative projects.

The exhibition of export goods of Turkmenistan in Istanbul will end its work on the 5th of July.
