Last week, 93 transactions were registered at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.
In foreign currency, businessmen from China, Great Britain, and Turkey bought green and calcinated petroleum coke, produced at the Turkmenbashi Refinery Complex.
Deals in foreign currency also included clear sheet glass and cotton yarn. They were made by traders from the Russian Federation, the UAE, Great Britain, Turkey, and Uzbekistan. The sum total of the transactions exceeded US $9, 918, 000.
In local currency, representatives of business circles from the UAE, Great Britain, Turkey, Scotland, and Kazakhstan purchased cotton yarn (over 21,248,000 manats).
For the domestic market, local businessmen made deals for purchasing polypropylene, polypropylene bags and coextruded polypropylene film produced at the Turkmenbashi Refinery Complex, as well as handmade carpets, cotton fiber, and plastic products. The sum total of the deals was over 105, 029, 000 manats.
