Perspectives of trade and economic cooperation taking into account national development plans were the main subject of the meeting held in video conference format with the Chamber of trade, Industry, Mines and Agriculture of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Having note efficient character of Turkmen – Iranian cooperation, which is based on century-old friendship and fraternity of neighboring nations, the sides highlighted that traditional partnership not only meets mutual interests but also serves to the goals of prosperity of entire region. Strengthening of international trade and economic relations with all interested partners has always been and remains to be the main aspect of foreign strategy o Turkmenistan. The participants of online meeting have noted the necessity of more comprehensive involvement of existing colossal potential of cooperation and active attraction of representatives of non-governmental sector of the economy to its implementation. It was highlighted that long-term perspective partnership between Turkmenistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran includes wide range of directions and comprehensively meets priorities of social and economic development of two countries. In this regard, the sides have noted the importance of organization of regular similar meetings for development of approaches to the formation of single platform for further efficient cooperation of the principles of mutual respect and benefit.
