The State Concerns Türkmenhimiýa and Türkmengaz hosted video conference talsk with representatives of Japanese Mitsubishi Corporation, during which realization of agreements reached earlier and perspectives of cooperation in chemical and oil and gas industry have been discussed. It was mentioned that Turkmenistan and Japan have successful experience in this fields. Opening of the largest in the region Garabogazkarbamid Plant producing nitrogen fertilizers is one the examples. Production of the plant is on high demand in the world markets. New impulse was given to fruitful cooperation during working visit of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to Japan last October, during which number of documents including documents related to construction of new plant for production of ammonia and carbamide in Turkmenistan with participation of Mitsubishi has been signed. There is also big potential for beneficial partnership in oil and gas industry, the main aspects of development of which are diversification of the sphere, creation of ramified export infrastructure of gas and innovative industrial complexes specialized in gas processing, production of polymeric and other petrochemical production. The main subjects of online meeting at the State Concern Türkmengaz included development of preliminary technical project of the plant for production of 10 billion cubic meters of sale gas per year. This facility is planned to be built under the next stage of industrial development of Galkynysh gas deposit.
