The State Bank of Foreign Economic Relations hosted video conference session with representatives of John Deere International GmbH. Personnel of the Foreign Minsitry has also taken part in the session. Technical and technological rearmament of agricultural complex was the main subject of discussion. The sides stated with delight fruitful character of cooperation between Turkmenistan and one of the leading world producer of agricultural equipment. This is indicated by agreement and contracts on provision of big shipments of grain and cotton harvesters, tractors, seeders and other equipment signed in the last few years. Installation of digital electronic operation system to agricultural machines and equipment, which will be carried out on phases throughout 2020 – 2030, is another vector of the partnership with John Deere Walldorf GmbH & Co. KG (Germany). Modern samples of agricultural equipment of John Deere can be bought by representatives of private business by credit granted from the bank. Relative Resolution has been signed by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in January this year for provision of the government financial support to entrepreneurship. This document also provides entering into credt agreement between the State Bank of Foreign Economic Relations and Deere Credit Inc. (USA) for financing of 85 percent of the cost of agricultural equipment procured by entrepreneurs – individuals and legal entitities, from John Deere Walldorf GmbH & Co.KG. During the session, foreign partners expressed gratitude to Turkmen side for constructive approach to strengthening of business relations and willingness to expand the spheres of cooperation.
