Agricultural workers in Dashoguz velayat started rice sowing campaign. Rice will be sown on 8,100-hectare territory located in S.Turkmenbashi etrap, where all necessary conditions for obtaining high yields of food crops are created. There is a modern rice-cleaning enterprise in the etrap that supplies over 30,000 tons of high-quality products per year. The seeds of the Nukus-2, Munbashi and Alenga varieties will be the velayat, which have proven themselves in the soil and climatic conditions of the region and have high taste qualities. This year, rice growers in the region plan to produce more than 35,000 tons of ‘pearl grain’.
