Turkmen national team won nine medals – four gold, one silver and four bronze, on the second day of the III World Nomad Games. Our sportsmen had great success in Kyrgyz national belt wrestling – the alysh. Our countryman Seydi Batyrov won the gold in the weight category up to 100 kg in men’s competitions. The women team won three god medals. The gold medallist are Lachyn Badagliyeva (up to 55 kg), Zuhra Madraimova (up to 60 kg) and Nasiba Surkiyeva (up to 75 kg). Arslan Ashyrgeldiyev won the silver for our team in men’s competitions in the weight category up to 60 kg. Four our countrymen won bronze medals. They are Ovezgeldy Berdiyev in super heavy weight category above 100 kg, Rozymyrat Medov in the weight category up to 70 kg, Gylych Jumayev in the weight category up to 90 kg in men and Jemal Ovlyakuliyeva in the weight category up to 65 kg in women. Therefore, nine medals were added to the previous three, which have been won n Tajik national belt wrestling. By the results of two days of competitions of the III World Nomad Games, Turkmenistan team has 12 medals – 5 gold, 2 silver and 5 bronze medals, which place the team on the third position in total team count.
