On August 5, 2025, within the framework of the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries, a meeting was held between the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov with the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov, during which the current state and prospects for the development of trilateral relations between neighboring states were discussed.
