Kurban Bairamy – the last week’s most remarkable holiday event, was a striking demonstration of the present-day generation’s invariable adherence to the lofty values of our ancestors. In pursuance of the Ukase of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov, on the occasion of the holiday, the picturesque music-song festivities were held in our capital – Ashgabat, and in all towns of the country.

During the visit of representative Turkmen delegation at the head of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet S.Berdimuhamedov to the capital of Japan according to the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan for participation in the official opening ceremony of XXXII Summer Olympic Games, a number of important bilateral meetings on discussion of issues of interstate cooperation took place.

Today, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has held a regular session of the Cabinet of Ministers via digital means to consider priority issues of state life and some draft documents.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov sent condolences to President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping in connection with the numerous casualties, injuries and massive destruction that occurred in the country as a result of floods in Henan province.

Today, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting with the participation of Cabinet Deputy Chairmen, Mejlis Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Milli Gengesh, members of the State Security Council, heads of some ministries and sectoral departments.

Today, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working trip to the Dashoguz velayat, where he took part in the opening ceremony of a new residential area and building "Türkmeniň ak öýi" in the administrative center of the region.

The past week was notable for a number of events, which reflected the consistency of the reform-based policy course pursued by the leader of nation Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov aimed at further improvement of the Turkmen people’s well-being, development of the Motherland’s economic potential, and enhancement of international cooperation.

Today, a telephone conversation took place between President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and recently elected President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Seyed Ebrahim Raisi.
