Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov inspected the status of the International Pediatric Center under construction in the south of the capital. The new medical facility, which construction is in its final stages, serves as further evidence of the government’s commitment to protecting the health of its citizens, especially the younger generation.

Improving the healthcare system and expanding the range and quality of medical services rendered to the population are identified as priority priorities. Particular attention is being paid to ensuring the healthy development of the younger generation. Thus, in our country, which is rapidly developing in all areas, effective measures are being taken in this area. Success in achieving the goals set for the healthcare system is due to the consistent implementation of large-scale reforms initiated by Doctor Arkadag under the visionary leadership of Arkadagly Hero Serdar.

In this regard, the complex of buildings of the International Pediatric Center, the construction of which began with the blessing of Doctor Arkadag, is noteworthy.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov visited the International Pediatric Center, part of the Directorate of International Medical Centers. Minister of Health and Medical Industry M. Gaiypov submitted information on the progress of work on the new facility, the equipment of its departments, and the improvement of the surrounding area.

The head of state inspected the facility, which will open in the year of the 35^th anniversary of independence and is timed to coincide with Healthcare and Medical Industry Workers’ Day. In addition, relevant design solutions and diagrams, as well as information on the Center’s equipment, were presented.

The projects include the Center’s master plan and general appearance, as well as materials on the equipment of offices, clinical laboratories, operating room and inpatient department, conference hall, children’s playground, and other related facilities. Illustrative materials on the departmental equipment were also presented.

Pointing out the Center’s specialization, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of ensuring appropriate conditions for children. The head of state commented on a number of projects and made appropriate adjustments.

The construction and equipping of medical facilities, ensuring their compliance with current standards, require special attention. It is essential focusing on international practices and relying on modern scientific developments. Addressing this issue, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov issued a number of instructions.

After reviewing the projects and materials detailing the progress of the Center’s construction, the improvement of the surrounding area, and the finishing and furnishing of its premises, the head of state highlighted the digitalization of its offices.

The International Pediatric Center consists of five floors and is designed to render medical services to children over three years of age. It is envisaged that its activities will be carried out in collaboration with leading global clinics.

Today, under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, significant progress is being made in all areas of national life, including the healthcare system.

Continuing his introduction to the projects, the head of state emphasized the importance of ensuring high-quality services at the Center, particularly consultations, diagnostics, and therapy. At the same time, priority should be given to improving the qualifications of senior medical personnel and the use of advanced digital technologies, including artificial intelligence.

The comprehensive reforms affecting all areas of the national economy are attached to relevant policy documents. In particular, reforms in the healthcare system are outlined in the “Saglyk” State Program. Speaking about this, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of a responsible approach to their successful implementation.

After reviewing the designs and drawings of the International Pediatric Center, Arkadagly Hero Serdar inspected the consultation, diagnostic, and therapeutic rooms, as well as the inpatient wards.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov inspected the equipment and furnishings of the consultation room. As noted, the design elements were selected to engage children and enrich their worldview.

The diagnostic department houses specialized rooms, including functional and radiation diagnostics. The department also features modern endoscopy equipment from leading global manufacturers, enabling the rapid and accurate acquisition of AI-based information.

Speaking about the need to effectively utilize digital capabilities, including AI, in the healthcare system, particularly in pediatrics, the head of state ordered the proper operation of the equipment and other technical devices installed in the Center’s premises.

Then, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov toured the therapeutic department. It has all the necessary facilities for treatment, procedures, and surgeries. The department includes digital radiography and intensive care rooms, equipped with state-of-the-art apparatus.

Furthermore, the department has digital capabilities to keep children occupied during procedures and ensure their comfort during treatment.

The equipment and devices installed here allow for accurate and rapid acquisition of necessary information based on AI technology, enabling prompt decision-making. At the same time, the technical means, unique in the region, will significantly improve treatment effectiveness. Experienced, knowledgeable physicians are essential for operating such equipment.

The diagnostic department also has monitors displaying indoor microclimate data. This allows for maintaining the desired temperature at any time of day.

In the operating room, liaison between all departments will be handled via online monitors. This organization, which allows for instant request and receipt of necessary data, will ensure a favorable surgical outcome, noted Minister of Health and Medical Industry M.Gayipov.

The head of state assured that special attention be paid to storing electronic data on departmental work, which will allow for detailed review of treatment progress and results through a digital system, thereby enabling doctors to gain relevant experience.

The Center’s postoperative department also has the necessary conditions for isolated care, preventing the penetration of infectious pathogens.

Arkadagly Hero Serdar instructed that high quality and efficiency of work processes in the Center’s departments be ensured, as well as sanitary monitoring within them. Maintaining cleanliness and proper ventilation in the premises is one of the main requirements for medical workers.

Then, the head of state toured the inpatient department. The wards have been designed to provide all the necessary conditions for children undergoing inpatient treatment. Cleanliness and digital technology ensure the children feel comfortable.

Furthermore, there is a children’s playground where young patients can have fun.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov reiterated the importance of properly maintaining equipment in the departments, focusing on long-term reliability, which requires a highly responsible approach. At the same time, measures must be taken to enable doctors to learn about the latest scientific achievements and developments and master advanced medical practices.

Having given the relevant instructions, the head of state ordered that construction work be carried out with high quality and completed according to the established schedule.

Wishing success in preparing for the opening ceremony of the International Pediatric Center and achieving the set objectives, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov departed the site.
