Against the background of the past week’s panorama of events, it is well worth putting spotlight on the regularity and consistency of the strides undertaken by our country to realize the initiated by the leader of nation Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov science-based strategic programs of the national economy complex fast-track development, which are the strong basics of the country’s next forward breakthrough toward new achievements and heights of the epoch of power and happiness of the Turkmen state.
In the inspired and joyful atmosphere, our people saw the New Year 2022, which picked up the baton of successes achieved in every sphere of the national economy complex. Over the past year, under the visionary and farsighted leadership of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, a great deal of work was accomplished to strengthen the country’s economic power and obtain steady growth in prosperity of the native people; the interrelations established between the states and international organizations entered on a qualitatively new phase.
The year 2021, proclaimed under the slogan “Turkmenistan – Home of Peace and Trust”, is nearing completion. Due to the progressive, innovatory policy pursued by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, our country moves confidently forward and makes great strides toward realization of grandiose changes in every sphere of economic and social life aimed at achieving major goal – to turn our Motherland into an industrially developed state with high living standards of the people.
Every day of the jubilee year proclaimed under the slogan “Turkmenistan – Home of Peace and Trust” our people mark with glorious events and labor victories. The head of state keeps initiating still more grandiose plans linked with full-scale realization of Turkmenistan’s gigantic economic and spiritual potential. Their successful implementation will serve as a powerful impetus for achieving higher records and, in the end, will ensure a colossal breakthrough of our country in different spheres of the national-economy complex.
Last week, Turkmenistan celebrated the 26th anniversary of obtaining the status of permanent neutrality, twice enshrined in the Resolutions of the United Nations Organization. This remarkable date symbolizes a triumph of the President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov’s constructive foreign-policy strategy based on lofty ideals of peacefulness and humanism the Turkmen people was committed to throughout its entire history. Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality has become an effective factor in the international policy; it won recognition of the world community of nations and fully proved its adaptability to the contemporary conditions, actuality and compliance with key directions of the global development.
The past eventful week, which incorporated quite a number of events of the domestic and international level, was yet another striking illustration that independent Turkmenistan under the visionary and far-sighted leadership of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov was striding confidently along the way of progress and creative endeavors, and concern for the people, their welfare remained, as usual, a major aspect of the state policy.

The events of the past seven days were a striking illustration of successful putting into life of the leader of nation Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov’s creative initiatives aimed at our country’s active integration into the global political and economic space, at its accelerated inclusion in the rank of high-developed countries of the world, as well as at the broad mutuality-based cooperation with all interested partners.
The foreign policy pursued by the leader of nation Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, based on the principles of neutrality, peacefulness and active international interaction, gave a powerful impetus to broadening of the equitable and effective cooperation with many countries of the world. At the same time, a set of goal-directed measures is undertaken to promote maximum use of the country’s geopolitical, economic, resource and human potential to accelerate its entering the rank of the states with high quality of life, dynamic economy.
