The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov sent sincere congratulations to the Hero of Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation, test cosmonaut instructor, commander of the cosmonaut corps of the Roscosmos State Corporation for Space Activities Oleg Kononenko on the occasion of Cosmonautics Day. 

By order of the President of Turkmenistan, for improper performance of official duties, weakening of control over subordinate structures, as well as shortcomings during the improvement and cleaning work in the city of Ashgabat, the Hakim of the city of Ashgabat, Gandymov Rahym Nurgeldiyevich, was severely reprimanded with a final warning to correct the shortcomings as soon as possible.

Key  priorities of the state policy consistently realised by President Serdar  Berdimuhamedov - systematic implementation of national programs on complex development of the country, popularisation of mass physical culture and health  movement, careful preservation of spiritual values, increase of well-being of population and intensification of constructive international cooperation found their due reflexion in the events of the past week.

On April 10, 2024, a telephone conversation took place between the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

On April 9, 2024, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov received Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia Shalva Papuashvili.

Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has held a working meeting via a digital system with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atahallyev, who is in charge of the agro-industrial complex, and the khyakims of velayats to review the progress of seasonal field work in the country.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent sincere congratulations and best wishes to Mr. Peter Pellegrini on the occasion of his victory in the election of President of the Slovak Republic.

Taking this opportunity, the President of Turkmenistan addressed President Peter Pellegrini with wishes of good health, happiness and great success in responsible state activities, and to all the people of the Slovak Republic - further progress and prosperity.

In order to further strengthen the unity, harmony and cohesion of the native people in the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state, respect for centuries-old traditions and customs, preservation of our spiritual wealth, and also in accordance with Article 81 of the Labour Code of Turkmenistan, I decree:

Last week, 31 transactions were registered at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.

Today, with the participation of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, a mass bike ride dedicated to World Health Day was held in the capital. In our country, this date, fixed in the national calendar, is celebrated annually widely and with great enthusiasm, being evidence of the Turkmen people’s commitment to the principles of a healthy and active lifestyle.
