Greco-Roman Wrestling Championship of Asia among cadets born in 1998-2000, which took place in New Delhi with participation of hundreds of sportsmen from 18 countries, brought to Turkmen team four bronze medals. Three of them belong to the representatives of Ashgabat classic wrestling school: Resul Biramov (coach Nepes Gukulov) in the category up to 46 kg; Seydulla Tazayev (tutor Aman Geldiyev) – in weight up to 58 kg, and pupil of the Honored Coach of Turkmenistan Gasan Rasulov – Arslan Kuliyev in the category up to 85 kg. The fourth bronze medal was gained by Eduard Shaginyan from seaside Turkmenbashi city. Training under guidance of his father – Arthur Shaginyan, he gained the third rate of the podium in 69 kg weight category. While young Turkmen boxing and Greco-Roman wrestling masters win medals in Asian level competitions, men national teams on these sports prepare to struggle for rights in Olympic Games 2016 that will take place in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil). The first ""permits"" to the main sports event of four years will be played in the autumn: planet superiority on Greco-Roman wrestling will take place in September in Las Vegas (USA), and the World boxing championship will be organized in October in capital of Qatar - Doha.
