On November 2-4, 2017, Ashgabat will host the 22nd international conference and an exhibition entitled Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan-2017. The forum is expected to be attended by field-related specialists from many countries, including representatives of foreign oil and gas companies, sectoral ministries and agencies of some countries, international organizations, and the mass media. The conference will focus on an extensive range of issues, concerning the development of the global, regional and our country’s oil and gas sector, international cooperation in this area, promotion of foreign investment and technological innovations. Special emphasis will be placed on the diversification of Turkmen natural gas supplies to global markets. In particular, the conference will address the construction progress and prospects of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India gas pipeline project.
