International Equestrian Complex of “Turkmen atlary” State Association was awarded with International Prize “Best enterprise in the field of intellectual property”. Founder of this prestigious award is the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) – intergovernmental specialized organization of system of the United Nations Organization, engaging in administration of a series of key international conventions in the field of intellectual property. Turkmenistan is the member of WIPO since 1995. As Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization Francis Garry noted, making a speech at the solemn awarding ceremony of the prize of WIPO, this award was given to the International Equestrian Complex as one of the best enterprises of the region, which gained significant successes on its basic activity. International Equestrian Complex is one of the largest in the Central Asia horse-breeding centers. The country takes unprecedented measures, which attached new impulse to the development of national horse-breeding art and wide popularization of legendary horse breed. Among them is the creation of International Association of Akhalteke Horse-breeding, construction in every province of modern hippodromes and largest equestrian complexes, establishment of prestigious national contests. Specialized illustrated magazine “Heavenly Akhalteke horses”, being published by the International Association of Akhalteke Horse-breeding, as well as website of the same name of the State news agency TDH opened in global network Internet are urged to contribute to wide popularization in the world of national horse-breeding art.
