President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the country Army General Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov took part in the opening of New complex of facilities of Avaza frontier post during his working trip to Balkan Velayat. Complex of new buildings raised under the military reform programme inititated by the Head of the State is another facility within infrastructure of the State Border Guard Service where all conditions for service and life of military personnel have been made according to international standards. Early in the morning, the helicopter of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov arrived to the place of event. The Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces was warmly welcomed by the leaders if military and law enforcement agencies gathered their on occasion of remarkable event. Secretary of the State Security Council, Defence Minister Ya. Berdiyev made report to the President on the readiness to the opening on new complex of Avaza frontier post. Samples of the newest military equipment including combat and patrol ships, boats and varios types of specialized vehicles designated for reliable protection of marine borders of Turkmenistan were presented to the attention of the Head of the State. It is worth mentioning that under consolidation of equipment and facilities base of the Naval Forces, the most modern technical equipment and hardware are purchased and this provides the security of the country and peaceful life of people. Every type of this equipment is a guarantee of defensive capability of Turkmenistan and has high combat specifications. The ability of military personnel to operate modern combat vehicles and equipment was demonstrated during tactical exercises. Today, the marines serve their duties according to the Military doctrine of independent neutral Turkmenistan putting their sacred duty for Motherland protection above all. The Head of the State Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov warmly greeted the soldiers and congratulated the personnel of the post on this remarkable event. In their turn, border guard personnel hailed the President of Turkmenistan by thrice-repeated ""hurray!"" Turkmen leader went toward the complex of new buildings where military music orchestra performed patriotic musical composition. Under loud applause of the participants of the ceremony, the President of Turkmenistan cut symbolical ribbon and opened the complex of new facilities of frontier post. After, the Head of the State started the inspection of new facility where all conditions for efficient service of the personnel have been made. Different types of combat vehicles, quad bikes, armoured vehicles and other have been presented to the head of the State on special ground. Having studied in details the specification and features of military equipment, the President highlighted that the State would continue consolidating equipment and facilities base of the Border Guard troops providing frontier defenders with the most advanced specialized equipment and vehicles. Having handed over modern specialized combat vehicle as a present to the post, president Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov went to the central building with the headquarter of the post is located. It accommodates Information Centre with state-of-art equipment. Modern hardware and communication means allow the Centre monitoring marine frontiers of the Motherland all day around as well as making direct video communications with divisions located in different regions of the country. Technical potential of Information Centre allows controlling of the situation and operational response to emergency situations that may occur at any part of the State border, having provided reliable protection of its safety. The frontier posts of independent neutral Turkmenistan are regularly provided with modern technical devices for consolidation of their equipment and facilities base, improvement of professional skills of personnel. Great attention is paid to combat training and patriotic education, improvement of general knowledge of young specialists who are to operate modern complex equipment and solve organizational and tactical issues. New building has working offices and spacious conference hall designated for different events and library. The territory of the complex has sport grounds and gyms provided with all necessary things for physical training and sports. The complex includes light and spacious canteen, kitchen and bakery. All measures are taken for balanced high calories ratio that meets scientifically based nutrition standards for the individuals living active life together with the conditions for border guard staff and their recreation. There are also new houses for border guard personnel and their families with full set of modern amenities providing comfort living to the tenants. Dozens of the officers of the Border Guard Service became happy owners of new apartments. There are also children play grounds with all the conditions for entertainment of young tenants of the compound. There are special places allocated for improvement of professional training of the personnel on the territory of the frontier post. The premises for service dogs are also available. The complex of frontier post facilities made in single architectural ensemble has been built taking into account modern requirements. There is Medical Centre with modern specialized equipment and qualified personnel that is to render high level services to border guard personnel. Besides, autonomous life support systems have been stipulated there. Adjoining territory is well planned and planted with greens. Generally, new modern complex of building became another evidence of the success of large-scale reforms initiated by Turkmen leader including in military sphere, which are aimed at consolidation of security in Turkmenistan. Having made an entry in the Book of honoured guests on occasion of opening of new complex of frontier post, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov nootd that the Armed Forces of the country are to be the foundation of policy of peace-loving and good-neighbourliness of Turkmenistan.
