Fuel-energy complex of Turkmenistan has completed preparations for the uninterrupted supply of natural gas to consumers in the autumn-winter period. Profile vice-premier M. Babayev informed about it at the meeting of the Government. On the whole, 930 thousand 210 households and 5 thousand 424 industrial and social enterprises are provided with natural gas on a contractual basis. Specialists of the State Concern ""Turkmengaz"" have checked, cleaned and repaired all gas and gas distribution systems, as well as gas pipelines of high, medium and low pressure. Human settlements of the country are provided with natural and liquefied gas, the work on installation of gas meters in new farms and residential complexes is being performed promptly. The technical condition and safe use of household appliances in institutions, enterprises, schools, kindergartens and hospitals are monitored. Having heard the report, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov drew attention to the need for careful and rational use of natural gas. The Head of the state instructed to keep under constant control the process of introducing modern energy saving technologies into the production and social spheres, as well as systems for accounting for the consumption of ""blue fuel"" that meet the requirements of international standards.
