A phone call took place between the President of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and his Turkish colleague, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. The Turkish leader, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, congratulated President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the people of Turkmenistan upon Gurban bayramy, and conveyed his wishes for health, well-being and prosperity. The Turkmen leader expressed his thanks for the greetings and extended his kind wishes to the people of Turkey. During the phone call, the heads of the two states confirmed the availability of favorable prospects for the further development of fruitful multidimensional partnership. In this regard, the sides stressed the significance of regular highest-level and intergovernmental contacts, and meetings between the business circles of the two countries. The Presidents highlighted the importance of the humanitarian aspect of the Turkmenistan–Turkey relations induced by the the centuries-long spiritual and cultural ties between the two nations. They also noted the mutual focus on deepening the fruitful contacts in the areas of culture, sports and tourism. In concluding the phone call, the leaders of the two countries expressed their firm belief that the Turkmen-Turkish dialog will continue to develop successfully, and extended to each other the wishes for health and success, as well as for peace, well-being and prosperity to the peoples of the two countries.
