I am firmly confident that you will always perform your responsible duty for reliable protection and inviolability of the borders of friendship and brotherhood demonstrating high example of loyalty to the Motherland and the oath of allegiance, - the message of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov addressed to the command staff, cadets and personnel of the State Border Guard service says. Being committed to the principles of neutrality, independent Turkmenistan invariably pursues the policy of peace, friendship and broad international cooperation. At the same time while being a sovereign state, the country carries out reforms based on the military doctrine for support of defence capability, improvement of facilities and equipment base of the army and training of highly qualified personnel. As the result of successful implementation of the reforms in this sphere, Border guard troops have gone by the road of professional formation and maturity. The duty of every officer is to explain our internal and foreign policy, which is based on the principles of friendship, brotherhood, humanity, support of peace in the region and on the planet, to the soldiers who serve military duty in border guard troops and to bring up the patriots. Soon, our country will host V Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games and you face exclusively important objectives. I am sure that you will fulfil them with honour making considerable contribution in successful conduct of these international sports competition, - the presidential message mentions. Border guard Institute of Turkmenistan conducts the training of the officers with high combat skills who are able to solve serious and responsible objectives of the Border guard troops. Highly qualified military specialists, who graduated this university, are professionals in protection the frontiers and skilfully operate most modern military equipment and machines providing the integrity and inviolability of the State border. Your responsible service provides wellbeing of the country. That is why the Government always pays special attention to the defender of the frontiers of the Motherland. Establishment of the conditions for proper service of border guard personnel and comfortable life of their families are the key aspects of military reform in the country. We will continue building new modern facilities of border guard formations and outpost, living houses for personnel and other service and social facilities as well as purchasing advanced military machines and equipment.
