The telephone conversation between President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov and President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoev took place. Having warmly greeted his counterpart, the head of state sincerely congratulated the Uzbek leader on his 60th birthday anniversary, wished him sound health and well-being, and also great successes in his large scale activity for the benefit of the fraternal people. - Your huge political experience and high professionalism, many-sided state activity based upon the all-round support and respect of the people, are a fundamental principle of success of large scale transformations carried out in Uzbekistan, far-sighted social and economic reforms, a pledge of new achievements of the state, won a deserved respect of the world community, - President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov told. Having thanked for congratulations and kind words, President Shavkat Mirziyoev underlined that Uzbekistan is attached to friendship with Turkmenistan which, is based on principles of mutual understanding and trust and have found a new qualitative content in recent years. Heads of states paid much attention to time-honored relations in the cultural-humanitarian sphere that is caused by historically developed centuries-old spiritually-cultural generality of two neighboring peoples. During the telephone conversation of the sides also exchanged opinions on the important issues of regional and international significance representing mutual interest. Adherence of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan to constructive interaction within the authoritative organizations, first of all - the United Nations, with a view of maintenance of universal peace, safety and sustainable development was confirmed. At the end of conversation President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov, once again congratulated his Uzbek colleague Shavkat Mirziyoev on his birthday anniversary, expressed confidence that relations between two brotherly states and people will be further developed successfully on the basis of principles of mutual respect and equality.
