On the instructions of President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov chairwoman of the Mejlis A.Nurberdyeva accepted credentials from extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina Kemal Muftich. On behalf of the head of the state the speaker of the national parliament congratulated the foreign guest on his appointment to the high diplomatic post and wished successes in development of friendship and mutually advantageous cooperation between both countries. The plenipotentiary representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina conveyed warm words of greeting of top officials of his country to head of the state Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov. During the meeting the ambassador was informed on key vectors of the internal and foreign policy of Turkmenistan. A special accent was made on socially oriented state policy. The diplomat was also acquainted with the structure and multilateral activity of the Mejlis, its role in the light of democratic transformations. Mr Kemal Muftich, in turn, stated that the policy of neutrality of Turkmenistan and the international initiatives of President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov aimed at maintenance of general safety and sustainable development, cause a great respect in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as all over the world. In the given context the plenipotentiary representative underlined aspiration to adjustment of closer and productive trade and economic and cultural-humanitarian interaction, including in the area of tourism and sports with the Turkmen state. Cooperation prospects on such direction, as an exchange of experience in horse breeding were marked. A special attention was also given to the organization of the 5th Asian indoor and martial arts games in the Turkmen capital in September, current year. *** The same day the extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina was received in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs where an interested exchange of opinions on priority aspects of bilateral partnership took place.
