Turkmenistan will purchase 142 thousand 819 educational computers that will be traditionally presented, as every year, to the first-graders at secondary schools on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan. This has been reported by the Vice-Premier in charge of science, education, healthcare and sport, S.Toylyyev, at the cabinet session. In this connection, samples of computers intended for Turkmenistan’s younger citizens, who will be stepping into classrooms for the first time in the upcoming academic year, have been presented to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for consideration. Having examined the submitted samples of educational computers and selected one of them, the head of state instructed the Vice-Premier regarding the purchase of computer hardware for the first-graders.
