In his letter, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, extended congratulations to the President of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the countries. As stated in the letter, Azerbaijan attaches great importance to the development of friendly, good-neighborly relations with Turkmenistan. The relations expand in the political, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres; new areas of cooperation are identified. The letter stresses that Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan develop fruitful collaboration both in multilateral format and within the framework of international and regional organizations.
