During working trip, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov was accompanied by the Head of the capital administration Sh. Durdyliyev. Having taken the control of the helicopter and looking around Ashgabat from board, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressed detailed interest in the works, especially in the measures for improvement of road and transport infrastructure, construction of new roads, bridges and intersections, reconstruction of existing lines, modernization of lighting system as well as in course of construction of different facilities. In this regard, having stated insufficiently considered approach to road planning and location of bus stops what creates the discomfort for the passengers, the Head of the State expressed his discontent with the works. The Leader of the Nation noted that bus stops located near multilevel bridges and along the highways, over- and under passes have to meet comfort criteria for the populations and demands of modern urban environment. Fundamental modernization of road and transport network including the construction of multilevel intersections what improved coordinated automobile traffic has been done recently. In this context, the President of Turkmenistan pointed at insufficient quantity of traffic signals and information displays on new highways and requested the personnel of the State Service of Traffic Control of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to activate proper measures in this direction. Under the concept of Ashgabat development initiated by the Head of the State, the work on the next phase of urban construction are carried out at present moment. New facilities, which appearance combine the traditions of national architecture and advanced tendencies of the urban construction, merge harmonically into beautiful architectural ensemble of the main city of the country. Leader of the Nation Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that along with construction of living complexes, other building and different purpose facilities, it is necessary to pay special attention to creation of green zones, provision of sports and children playground and generally of the conditions for comfort rest and active leisure of the people including young people as well as to ecological prosperity in the capital. In this regard, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov gave number of orders on beautification and green planting of the areas next new construction sites. Construction of shaded parkings for provision of the order of transport parking is another mandatory requirement of the capital urban planning programme, under which the construction of new administration buildings of ministries and department was expanded. Owing to important large projects in Ashgabat, the architectural appearance of the capital distinguished by beauty and original colour is rapidly changing. In this aspect, special attention is paid to the works for preparation of Ashgabat 2017 Asian Games in September of this year. Having focused the attention on the fact that the remains of building materials are generated next to the construction sites due to large-scale transformation works, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov addressed the discontent to the Ministry of Construction and Architecture for non-provision of proper control of fulfilment of relative works. Continuing the subject, having noted that some quantity of building wastes was collected near the “Turkmenistan” TV and Radio Broadcasting Centre, which is included to the Guinness World Record Book, the Leader of the Nation demanded the leaders of the State Committee for Television, Radio and Cinematography to take immediate measures for elimination of existing shortfalls. The helicopter of the Head of the Stated headed to the west of the capital. At present moment, large-scale transformation works are expanded there like in other parts of the city, which main purpose is a fundamental modernization of the infrastructure and creation of favourable conditions for people’s life. Modern social facilities and living houses of Kyoshy district have been raised there. From the Helicopter, the president of Turkmenistan inspected the works of the city and situation at the construction sites in the western part. As is known, the final stage of construction of complex of buildings of the Institute of Urban Management is carried out at high rates on the territory of Abadan etrap in Ashgabat. New institute, where qualified specialists of the above-mentioned sphere will be trained, stipulates all conditions for wide use of advanced methods of training and getting of professional knowledge by the students. The classes are provided with modern equipment from famous world’s manufacturers and other innovative facilities. Continuing the flight, Head of the State Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov inspected the construction of large car park in this part of the city. The works on this facility are also under completion. All necessary conditions for drivers and comfort parking of the vehicles will be made there. It was mentioned that technical service if the vehicles is also stipulated there what will allow keeping the transport in operational conditions. Having made a turn, the helicopter of the Leader of the Nation, took course for the north of Ashgabat. The President of Turkmenistan looked around new living complexes appeared in this part of the city. As is known, new living estate Tyaze Zaman was built there. Having reviewed the works there, the Head of the State highlighted that top priority has to be attached to systematic improvement of social and living conditions of the populations and provision of high living standards in large-scale urban construction programme expanded in Ashgabat and gave number of relative assignments to the Hyakim of the city in this regard. Speaking of active practical application of advanced architectural, technical and engineering ideas, the President of Turkmenistan noted that planning of each facility has to meet its functional purpose. At the same time, construction works have to be executed considering landscape features of the area what requires responsible scientifically based approach. The helicopter of the Leader of the Nation made a turn over new living estate Tyaze Zaman. The Head of the State noted that it is necessary to pay attention to ecological aspect in such living estate, which have all amenities on the city level. In this regard, the Head of the State also noted the reasonability of continuation of massive tree planting along the Karakum River. It will support the protection of its channel and the enforcement of the banks, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said, having requested the specialists of the city administration, Ministry of Construction and Architecture, the State Committee for Natural Protection and Land Resources to hold under permanent control all these matters. As is known, the Leader of the Nation, taking part in the events of occasion of the Constitution Day and the Day of Magtumguly Fragi Poetry in May, give the assignments on transfer of the monument of the great poet and thinker of the East to picturesque high hill. To continue the subject, having highlighted that the poetry of extraordinary master of the word and philosophy thought raised not only Turkmen but the world’s literature as well, the Head of the State decided the place for the monument of Magtumguly Fragi, which would be built at the slope of the Kopetdag Mountains. Speaking of the importance of making of necessary conditions for organization of cultural events and public actions near future memorial, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov instructed to work over all related matters. Having noted that 50-day countdown is to start of July 28 until the beginning of V Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games, the Head of the State proposed the management and personnel of all organizations and departments to go to work by bicycle on the next day, July 29. Shuttle transport and passenger buses will work around the city on that day. It will be a unique action organized under preparation to 2017 Asian Games as well as an important step towrd steadfast consolidation of the healthy life style in the society. During the flight, the Head of the State also familiarized with the works on agricultural fields of Ak Bugday Etrap of Ahal Velayat. Currently, important agricultural season – the grain harvest campaign, is continued in the country. Having inspected the works at the grain fields located in Ak Bugday etrap, the Head of the State noted the necessary of undertaking of efficient measures for organized crop harvest campaign. After, the helicopter of the Head of the State headed to the capital. Under the way, the Leader of the Nation checked the situation in road construction and urban planning of adjoining territories. After the flight, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov wished all structures of the capital administration success in solution of set targets for realization of urban construction programme, which is to turn Ashgabat into one of the most beautiful and comfort city of the world.
