President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov took part in the elections of the Mejlis deputies who are nominated instead of left parliamentatians. Having given his vote in the morning at the polling station No. 48 of Kopetdag etrap of Ashgabat located in Annaniyaz Artyk school no. 48, the Head of the State was one of the first who came on that day to the polling stations. Particiation of several candidates for the mandate of public representative guarantees broad alternativeness and transparency of the elections. Participation of national observers also promotes the openness and impartiality of the election process.
