In connection with Victory Day celebration the day off is moved from May 7 to May 8

President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov signed the relevant Ukaz. As the text of the document says, in order to create favorable conditions for the celebration of the Victory Day and the population rest, a day off from Sunday - May 7 is moved to Monday - May 8, 2017. All institutions, enterprises and organizations, regardless of the form of ownership, are required to ensure the fulfillment of the Ukaz. Signing the document, the head of state congratulated the people of Turkmenistan on the 72nd anniversary of the Victory and wished everyone good health, longevity and prosperity.
