President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov received Reappointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania to Turkmenistan Sorin Vasile Moldovan, who presented credentials to the head of state. The head of state and the Romanian diplomat exchanged views on the prospects and possibilities of cooperation with wide mainstreaming opportunities, particularly in trade-economic sphere. Integrating efforts in such areas as energy and transport are considered to be topical. The significant role is given to the activities of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission and regular bilateral ministerial consultations. Humanitarian sphere was designated as one of the priority vectors of interstate interaction. As it is known, last year Romania hosted the Culture Days of Turkmenistan, the next step in this direction would be the same creative action – the Culture Days of Romania in our country. It was also noted that a number of joint activities would be timed to the remarkable date, forthcoming in the current year’s July – the 25th anniversary of establishing the diplomatic relations between the two countries.
