I congratulate you on the opening of International Exhibition and Fair and IX International scientific conference “Turkmen Horse and World’s Art of Horse Breeding”, - the message says. – Ahalteke horse is a national heritage of Turkmen people and pride of the nation. Following this, the Government pays special attention to the development of equestrian branch and sport. For the years of the independence, the primordial traditions were revived and the glory of national horse breeding art is multiplied. Turkmen horse-breeders, demonstrating responsible approach to the subject, carry out large work aimed at protection of the purity of the breed and increase of livestock of legendary horses. Ashgabat Equestrian Complex was reconstructed; International Equestrian Complex in the Kopetdag foothills in Ahal Velayat as well as modern complexes in Balkan, Dashoguz, Lebap and Mary velayats are built and put into operation. This remarkable events gave acceleration to further growth of the branch. The programme of coming V Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games includes show jumping competitions what also indicates special attention of the State to the development of equestrian sport. We broadly celebrate Turkmen Horse Day. According to the tradition, we hold ceremonial events and different competitions. Annual specialized International Exhibition and Fair with participation of numerous foreign guests is also timed to this event. We are happy to see leading international scientists, horse-breeders and experts at IX International Scientific Conference “Turkmen Horse and World’s Art of Horse Breeding”. This is another evidence of recognition by the world’s society that noble ahalteke horses, which are bred in Turkmen land and supplemented the treasury of universal values, are the elite among thoroughbred horses in the world. The exhibition, fair and scientific conference are called to play an important role in introduction of the world’s community with the achievements of domestic equestrian sphere. It will also favour beneficial partnership with companies and private horse-breeders, which wish to establish business contacts. Turkmen breeders, coaches, jockeys and other specialists of this sphere regularly have practical study in the countries with developed equestrian sphere, take active part in specialized exhibitions, competitions and conferences. This has positive effect on organization of large international events in our country, - the message of the President highlights.
