Within the limits of the campaign for elections of deputies of the Mejlis for separate election districts instead of those who have left their positions ahead of schedule and also members to khalk maslakhaty, members of geneshes in connection with changes in the administrative-territorial division of velayats certificates were given to registered candidates. In total 2 candidates from the Democratic Party and groups of citizens for the post of deputy of the Mejlis in the city of Ashgabat by electoral district № 7 ""Gunesh"" and in Mary velayat by electoral district № 106 ""Vekil"" accordingly were registered. By 175 districts 389 candidates for members of the khalk maslakhaty of the city of Kaka of Akhal velayat, members of geneshes of Bereketli zaman of Ak bugday etrap of Akhal velayat, Dovletli zaman of Oguz han etrap of Mary velayat, Karizek geneshlik of Gokdepe etrap of Akhal velayat, Purnuvar geneshlik of Serdar etrap, Akgujy genesjhlik of Turkmenbashi etrap of Balkan velayat, Jeyhun geneshlik of Khalach etrap of Lebap velayat and also members of velayat, etrap and city khalk maslakhaty and gengesh were registered. They were delegated from the Democratic Party, Party of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Agrarian party, groups of citizens of the country. For one place in all districts several candidates are nominated and it answers principles of alternativeness of elections. The openness and objectivity of election process will be promoted by participation of national observers in it. The majority of candidates - experts of economic sphere, rural and water management, thermal power station, education and public health services, state governing bodies, active workers of political parties, trade-union and youth organisations. Among candidates - representatives of different nationalities living in the country. Preparation for meetings with candidates is conducted. Voters have been given the right to freely and comprehensively discuss candidates and on make their choice on May 21.
