Another testimony to the effectiveness of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov's policy in the field of education, the success of reforms carried out in this sphere, were the awards of students of the Turkmen State University named after Makhtumkuli at the 13th International Olympiad in Theoretical Mechanics in the Republic of Belarus. Competitions held at the Belarusian State University of Transport gathered 145 students from 35 universities of the Russian Federation, Ukraine, People's Republic of China and other countries. Students of physics department of TSU, specializing in radiophysics and electronics Meilis Myalikov and Mekan Tojjanov were awarded gold and silver medals in the individual championship respectively. Good results were also shown by our students under the supervision of the head of Applied and Experimental Physics Department of the University, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Gylychmammet Orazov in team competitions, taking second place in this nomination and receiving a special prize from the organizing committee of the Olympiad. In addition, they performed in the brain-ring within the intellectual tournament, where they also came the second. At the Turkmen state university named after Makhtumkuli, a celebration took place on the occasion of honoring of the winners of the international Olympiad in Belarus.
