During working trip to Balkan Velayat, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held working session with participation of the Chairperson of the Mejlis, members of the Cabinet of Ministers and the State Security Council, hyakims of velayats and Ashgabat. The outcomes of international forum held in Avaza were summed up at the session. In this regard, the President of Turkmenistan outlined priority issues of related structures in the context of provision of high organizational level of Asian Games 2017. Speaking of the subject uttered at international congress on participation of refugee sportsmen in Asian Games 2017, who had to leave home places due to certain reasons and circumstances, the Head of the State noted that Turkmenistan would be glad to welcome them at continental competitions in Ashgabat as one of the most important goals of the Games is international sport cooperation for peace and progress. At the Government session, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov gave concrete assignments to the leaders of relative departments on comprehensive study the issues of participation of refugee sportsmen in Asian Games 2017. The Turkmen Leader highlighted that the main mission of the sports is to be a messenger of peace, friendship and progress.
