Presenting the honorary award during the Congress “2017 Asian Games: International cooperation in sports in the name of peace and progress”, the Head of the International Meibukan Gojyu-Ryu Karate-Do Association Meitatsu Yagi expressed sincere gratitude to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on behalf of all those present and on his own behalf for the provided opportunity and wonderful conditions, created for the constructive and efficient work of the forum. President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stated that he considered this award as a token of the recognition of Turkmenistan’s efforts in developing sports and physical culture, the active role of our country in the international sports movement, its deep commitment to the high ideals of the Olympic movement and strengthening the role of sports in intensifying friendship and mutual understanding between peoples.
