President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of the Republic of Belarus participating in the commissioning ceremony of ore dressing and processing plant for production of potassium fertilizers in Garlyk launched the conveyor of the facility. Presidents Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Alexander Lukashenko looked around the facility having made a tour around its territory. Their way run along mine pits, ore storage, processing and crystallization potassium products workshop and export warehouse. During the construction of this giant facility, the general contractor Belgorhimprom OJSC together with Turkmen partners made huge amount of works. New industrial complex includes more than 100 facilities. They are provided with most modern equipment and technologies from the famous world’s manufacturers from Germany, Switzerland, Great Britain, Denmark, USA, Russia and Belarus. More than 7 million tons of ore per year will be delivered from the mines to surface production complex. This amount is necessary for provision of planned volume of production, which is 1.4 million tons of potassium fertilizers meeting highest world’s standards by its quality and specification what will play a great role in export potential of Turkmenistan. Colossal reserves of potassium salt deposits in Garlyk exceeding more than 2 billion tons will provide stable work of the complex for many decades.
