The national volleyball team of Turkmenistan has won silver medals at the 3rd Asian Central Zone Volleyball Championship, which took place in the capital of the Republic of Maldives. In the final, our athletes lost to the team from Kyrgyzstan, which became the championship winner. The national team of Turkmenistan played against Kyrgyz volleyball players in the preliminary rounds and beat them 3:2. On the way to the final, the team of Turkmenistan also convincingly secured a win over volleyball players from Nepal with the score – 3:0 and defeated the host team – 3:0.
