International Sports Congress on Asiada-2017 to be Held in Avaza on 7 April

International sports congress entitled “Asiada-2017: International Cooperation in Sports for the Sake of Peace and Progress” will be held in Avaza on 7 April. Senior executives and representatives of the Olympic Council of Asia; international sports federations; major specialized organizations; National Olympic Committees of various countries are expected to participate in the congress. At the same time, presentations on Asiada-2017 and tours to the capital’s Olympic village will be organized for our foreign guests. Development of mass sport and recreation movement and high performance sport; intensification of successful cooperation in this area; reinforcement of principles of healthy lifestyle stand as priority vectors of the state policy initiated and pursued in Turkmenistan by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. Neutral Turkmenistan intends to further intensify the constructive cooperation with reputable international specialized structures including the Olympic Council of Asia.
