The 13ер Specialized Exhibition of the Islamic Republic of Iran, organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), has ended at the CCI Expo Center. Regularly held in Turkmenistan, the economic forum once again demonstrated the enormous potential of Turkmen-Iranian cooperation and mutual interest of partners in expanding and deepening the trade-economic relations in a broad spectrum of trends. Over 40 leading companies from different industrial centers of Iran presented their proposals, industrial solutions and offered their services at the exhibition in Ashgabat. Among them were manufacturers of modern machinery and equipment (including for the oil-and-gas sector, agriculture, and medicine) as well as producers of building materials and chemicals, metalwork, automobiles and household goods, and food products, which meet high quality requirements. Long-term and reliable partners, who have vast and positive experience of cooperation with our country, were active participants in the exhibition and made their presentations. Among the partner companies were “Petroleum Equipment Industries Company”, “Iran Spiral Co.”, “Mashhad Baking Industries Co.”, “Vala Polymer Co.”, “Nick Mahzar”, “Khoshnam Khorasan”, “Sane Mashhad Ispadana Co. Ltd” to name but a few. The exhibition showcased Iran-made “IKCO” automobiles, and Iran-assembled “Peugeot” automobiles. Arts and crafts products and souvenirs of the Iranian people added color and a unique national flavor to the exhibition. During three days, the Expo Center provided the venue for numerous meetings and negotiations held between the two countries producers, economists, marketing specialists and businessmen specializing in trade in close partnership with the staff of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and their colleagues from the Islamic Republic of Iran. Organized during the exhibition, a Turkmen-Iranian forum vividly demonstrated the willingness of Iran’s business circles to expand the trade-economic ties with our country. Among those in attendance were specialists, managers and market analysts from both countries. The forum participants made new proposals to promote business relations, considered prospective projects initiated by our country’s long-term partners as well as by companies, which seek to establish presence in the Turkmen market.
