In the course of the working meeting on the agricultural complex problems, its participants’ attention was focused on the requirements of President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov to strengthen radical reforms, implemented in AIC. One of the main challenges in this aspect is the main agricultural product ramp up through the increase of farming standards, wide introduction of scientifically based techniques in manufacture, effective seed-production work, and careful water use. Research and agriculture institutions should be displayed on a new level as key mechanisms for innovative AIC development, its main scientific-technological platform. In this regard, the meeting participants discussed measures of top priority for intensive development of cattle breeding, poultry keeping, vegeculture, horticulture, viniculture, melon-growing in the regions. In particular, these measures touch upon the widespread adoption of modern agricultural technology, construction of greenhouses and agro-industrial enterprises processing raw materials. Along with this, there were discussed the challenges, related to the seasonal agricultural work – on crop tending, cotton seeding preparation, etc. Special attention was paid to the implementation of the National Program of the President of Turkmenistan on improving social conditions of the population of villages, settlements, etrap towns and etrap centers till 2020, the General Program on provision of clean water to settlements of Turkmenistan and other large-scale socio-economic programs, under which the large-scale investment projects are accomplished, radically changing the life of the Turkmen village.
