Comprehensive measures were outlined to intensify the work of cultural institutions and tourism-related organizations; stimulate creative initiatives; support art projects; and develop international cooperation in this area. Media coverage of preparation for the 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games; holding the Games; organization of cultural events during the Games was also discussed during the meeting. It was reported that special working programs had been drawn up. Advanced personnel training; mastering new methods; and implementing best global practices were named among tasks assigned to newly appointed heads of cultural and media institutions.
